The Parliamentary Youth Caucus (PYC)
A non-partisan, cross-party caucus of Parliamentarians advocating for the constitutional and legislative rights of Youth in Zimbabwe.
The Parliamentary Youth Caucus (PYC) is a non-partisan, cross party and cross parliamentary grouping of Members of Parliament who work together to advocate for constitutional and legislative rights of Youth (15-35 years). It is committed to protecting and promoting youth rights. The membership is hybrid with Members of Parliament drawn from interested sitting Parliamentarians of all political parties and independent Members of Parliament.
The caucus is inspired by the need to champion youth development, empowerment, participation and representation across all spheres of life in Zimbabwe as enshrined in Section 20 of the Constitution. It was formed in the 3rd session of the 9th Parliament of Zimbabwe in 2021 and in the 10th Parliament, is chaired by Hon. Stanley Sakupwanya.

To empower Parliamentarians for championing holistic youth development and empowerment for Zimbabwe’s posterity across all spheres of life.
Mission
A shared and collaborative voice within the Parliament that champions holistic Youth development and empowerment in Zimbabwe, across all the spheres of life.
Objectives
Assemble a caucus of influencers and youth experts to focus on youth-centric policies.
Influence Members of Parliament to prioritize youth in resource allocation and programming.
Advocate for youth friendly legislation, inclusion, and empowerment.
Pursue innovative initiatives that bring together the youth sector with various stakeholders.
Encourage collaborations between academic, public and private partnerships for the youth.
Bridge the gap between youth and the Parliament for quality lobbying and advocacy.
Facilitate the effective implementation of the National Youth Policy and legislation.
Provide a Forum for discussing matters affecting Youth across party lines.
Develop and apply methods consistent with the objectives of the Parliamentary Youth Caucus.
